Sinusitis Contagious
Do I have sinusitis or something else? Is it contagious or not?
For the past couple of days, iI’ve woken up with inflamed sinuses. It’s worst in the morning and sometimes the mucus from my nose comes out yellow when I blow it.
When it’s not yellow, it’s clear and/or red-flecked from the strain I use when blowing my nose.
Also, if I don’t blow my nose for a while, my nose gets incredibly drippy and when I bend forward, my face hurts.
It alternates which sinus hurts and the constant sneezing doesn’t help!!
I’m supposed to be seeing a friend tomorrow and I don’t want to give her anything.
I get hayfever and have been taking meds for a couple of weeks now. PLEASE HELP, I’m being driven mad!
It sounds as if it is all part of your allergy (you say you get hay fever).
If the meds you are taking do not control it see your doctor or talk to a pharmacist.
It is unlikely to be infectious.
